Neale Farmer

Neale is employed as Senior Resilience Officer with Lake Macquarie City Council (NSW Australia) where he is responsible for coordinating climate change adaptation and climate resilience planning programs to reduce climate related risks and impacts. Neale has over thirty years’ experience across academia, consulting and the public sector (local and state government). Recent focus includes collaborating with Lake Macquarie communities to prepare and implement local adaptation and climate resilience plans to address climate related hazards including sea level rise, flooding, bushfire and urban heat. Qualifications include a B.App.Sci. (Environmental Health), M.App.Sci. (Resource Management), Grad.Dip. (Public Health), and an MBA.
